This pendant is inspired by the gingko trees that line the streets near work. They shed their brilliant golden leaves all at once, carpeting the pavement with the unmistakable gingko leaf shape. This necklace echoes the intertwining patterns the leaves create as they settle along the pavement. This design blends influences from celtic knotwork and Art Nouveau illustration, wrapping four stylized gingko leaves around a round chrysoprase cabochon. The pendant is crafted using chasing and repousse, a traditional technique where metal is carefully hammered from the front and back to create intricate illustrative designs.
