Flat Fab Explorations

Here are prototypes that were the result of my exploration into flat fabrication design for my High School Students in Metal Shop during Distance Learning. When it would be impractical and unsafe to send certain metal working tools home, I experimented with a different approach to metal working and design using our CNC Plasma Cutter. I tried using cnc folding cuts as well as looked into possibilities for cold connecting separate parts. Below are some prototype examples I created using cnc fold techniques that can be folded by hand or by pliers.
